Fireworks are dangerous when you're too close, but youngsters often ignore warnings. That's why we didn't try to warn them; instead, we made keeping a safe distance more enjoyable. To achieve this, we collaborated with Reggie, aka BIEM Meneer, an internet sensation who became a MEME for saying 'biem!' instead of 'boom!' during a street interview about an explosion in his neighborhood. Together with this internet legend, we created an app for filming fireworks. The app transformed the sound of your fireworks into 'BIEM!' but required a distance of 8 meters to work.

BIEM became a hot topic.
